The Spirit filled me and this came. I’ve been staring at it ever since. I tweaked it to sit more nicely in poetic form and felt an inner urgency to offer.
I woke up in your prison
In many forms
In many faces
A place where my cellmates
Judged
And condemned me to be
Smaller than they could see
And these
I have said
Are caged and unaware
So they were forgiven
For their fear
Again and again and again
But to the people on the outside
Who bought their so-called freedom
Who sold their essence
So long ago
Do you remember that moment
Where you chose to abandon Soul?
And you began to worship
The one
You thought
Was in
Control?
It was a visceral
Physical
Undeniable
Cut from your gut
Yet every choice you’ve had
Was simple…
One of fear
Or one of Love
And now exposure comes
Have mercy they say
Though it is not up to me
What do you value
In the crossroads
Where we meet?
And what did you trade
To stay in such a weak
And temporary way?
Your answer is your song
And what you sing
You don’t need me
To predict future things
Your voice
Your broadcast
Causes you to know
Your own trajectory
FEEL ME and ALL your senses come online
Eyes that see through rhetoric
Ears that know the tones
Of your forgotten Divinity
You are both bride and witness
Of the marriage of you and I
I AM that Sound in form
I AM that Light
But remember
You must invite!
You are designed to be
THE fluent bridge
Of Mother Earth and Father Sky
While darkness hides behind the church
I am coming through the least of you
Who shall be first
But you must choose
Out loud
Evil cannot exist
Or stick
When you become the Love
That you say you miss
Are you bold enough
To activate
The Mother and the Moon?
The vessel that holds
The light and stars
And every note of Truth?
I don’t speak to the congregations
Of plastic thoughts and faces
I speak through the ones
Who are here and bold
Walking through your prison walls
Wholly with their hearts of gold
I AM your God above God
WE are already here
Together
Embedded
Wedded with Form
This is the Kingdom
The Treasure within
Where the hum of your Heart
And the drum of the Mother
Are free to dance again
Together we are Sound and Light
Rise from the dream
Recall your ears and sight!
It is the time to be reborn
From your cycles of sleep
You may study the patterns
Of every blanket
That covers the deep
Until you are complete
But beneath your covering
Of every story and myth
We are the ONE
Fully arrived
We are the ONE
That is destined to fly
