I’ve been watching a few YouTube videos from the organization, IANDS, (the Int’l Association of Near-Death Studies). People are sharing their accounts of dying, or leaving the body and having expanded experiences in consciousness, while their own physical body, for whatever reason, has temporarily expired through accident or illness. Interesting how it seems we have to die or be taken far away and outside of our everyday reality – just to remember the truth of who we really are. Why would that be? Because to remember who we actually are would instantly destroy our story in this game or experiment in limited perception. And this act of remembering who we are isn’t written in the outer-world game codes. Rather, through actual experience, we are discovering that the Truth is deeply encoded within our physicality.
This isn’t a new topic of research for me, but I can appreciate that the platforms for the sharing of these NDE accounts have greatly improved. I was drawn to these stories decades ago, mostly because I found that these first-hand accounts usually brought me not only great comfort, but also great relief from the pain and sorrow of being alone with it. Alone with what? The cycles of repeated exposure to the absolute knowing of More, and having to return to the dull, colorless world… again and again. Then there is the attempt to explain it in terms that are certainly far too small to contain it all.
As experiencers, we courageously step out to share our profound journeys, and the associated feelings and understandings we’ve absorbed. But even though we seem to have different kinds of travel stories to tell upon our return, all in all, we can no longer limit ourselves to the existing world and all that is known to build an argument or a case for, “Hey guys, there’s so much more!” Why? Because in the confines of language and concepts in the world, all we can do is point at something, or use metaphors until we are blue in the face, knowing that this must eventually be directly experienced in order to be fully grokked or understood. Ultimately, whether you are a social worker or a quantum physicist, the attention must go within. One way or the other, in form or not, we will meet our Maker. Some of us are finding that we can achieve this while keeping our bodies in tact. We are healing and evolving our bodies while expanding our landscapes in consciousness as well.
I’ve had many years, a lifetime in fact, to ponder and integrate my experiences. In no way would I say that I am complete, as it is always a dynamic, ongoing process. My life has been one of being repeatedly visited and “taken” to other-dimensional realities with nonhuman guides. I perceived them mostly as tall, angelic light forms, but sometimes they did morph into other forms like beautiful orbs of light, tall grays and mantis-like forms. They were always loving and profoundly wise. While I have no evidence of what my physical body was doing during my out-of-body departures, i.e. breathing or not, I am experiencing expansion, downloads, understandings, reunions, data, and enormous love from the variety of forms I connected with. At a certain point one moves on from the story, plot and character aspect of it – you know, the reaching for the “right” linear words and phrases to explain; and the doubting and apologetic disempowering stance of, “I know it sounds crazy, but…” Rather, we move into the surrender-acceptance and integration phase, and following this is an organic evolutionary phase. This is when Kundalini (Sanskrit term) or Koyopa (Maya term) can occur. This is the body wisdom, the Goddess energy at the base of our spine, responding to our readiness to attune to greater frequency, wholeness, and balance while in form.
Over my lifetime, I experienced a series of deaths of the old and all that we were told about what life is. This was followed by my repeated rebirthings into a growing multidimensionally-aware human, with access to the feeling memory of pure Love, and the maps within that we can consciously utilize to find our way there (or Here) again. Whatever pathway one has traveled – be it NDE or contact with nonhuman intelligence – to find ourselves in the “beyond” – it is deeply understood that these are not separate places. It is not about, “Isn’t it nice that after we die we get to go to these wonderful places.” It is about bridging the distance between these seemingly separate places within our own consciousness.
If there was one important theme or message I could condense from what I was given over time, it would be: Everyone is going to have this opportunity to wake up and become alive again while in form. Everyone will have access to this Love, if they choose. Of course they always have had access, but what I was shown is, now more than ever it is possible to bridge the chasm between here and there with feet on the Earth. And this is what will transform our world from control and limitation, to the embodiment of lucidity and grace. The world will change because we are changing.
Like my own contact episodes, I hear NDE experiencers speak of being informed through the language of instantaneous feeling and knowing, a remembrance of who we actually are. It is a reconnection to our Source/God/Creator (insert your favorite identifier for this pure loving Presence). There are guides, and there are others there, usually on the periphery, but the focus is on taking in what we need to know before returning to the world of pain, suffering, and forgetfulness. Another commonality I see between NDE’ers and contactees, is that we are filled and changed by this limitless love, and we become greatly inspired to let humanity know that we are so much more.
And wow. Not an easy path.
Friends dropped away. Family members keep their distance. We end up with only a handful of, usually open-hearted people, that actually want to engage with us. No matter the changes in our community, we can’t go back, ever, to the way it was. We will continue to share and evolve our connection to our Source with feet on Earth. And we will continue to pass onto you, to the best of our ability, the Truth of who you are too.
Today I continue to connect with these guides and bring through verbal messages about humanity’s evolution.
And because I’m a singer and a writer of song, I share what I discover through the language of music. (Scroll down for close of article.)
As always, thank you for letting me interrupt your story, just as mine was so many times. And thank you for your willingness to absorb more – just as I was invited to do.
